The exhibition project, curated by Marco Senaldi, sees for the first time the plastic researches of Giovanni Ruggiero and Paolo Grassino dialoguing.
The exhibition is not configured as a simple juxtaposition of works, but as a real close confrontation between two visions of sculpture that, although starting from divergent technical assumptions, converge in a radical reflection on vulnerability, trauma and the persistence of the human imprint in the present. The title itself suggests a dimension of physical and intellectual struggle with matter, a tension that can be felt as one traverses the gallery space, where the scenic and objective presence of Grassino's sculptures meets, reacts to, and clashes with the hollowed-out depth of Ruggiero's introriliefs in a harmony of contrasts.
